Keep a transparent version when the edit needs more layers later. The space around the subject stays clear, ready for a compatible editor or web project. Changing the background preview does not bake it into this file.

Your image fills the video frame without stretching. When their shapes differ, the edges of the image are cropped. Use a picture with the same proportions as your clip, and leave room around logos or other important details. Background images can be JPG, PNG, or WebP files under 20 MB.
Yes. When your source contains audio, it is preserved in the processed clip and included in the Background MP4. A silent recording stays silent. This changes the picture behind the subject; it does not clean up room noise, replace your voice, or add a music track. Check the sound with the picture before sharing.
Start with a clearly visible subject, even lighting, and as little motion blur as possible. Similar colors between clothing and the room, fine flyaway hair, reflections, and fast movement can make the outline harder to separate. Check the moving clip against your chosen background; a single paused frame cannot reveal every rough edge.
The background choices here are a solid color or a still image. To place your subject over moving footage, download a transparent WebM and combine it with the other clip in an editor that supports video transparency. Yes—blurring is a different option when you want to soften the recorded setting without replacing it. It can suit an interview or presentation where the location still matters.
