Cookies we use

VideoBGRemover currently uses cookies and similar browser storage that are necessary to:

• keep you signed in and protect your session;
• maintain security and authentication state;
• remember the selected language or interface preference; and
• restore the active video job on the same device.

The active job identifier may be stored in local browser storage rather than a cookie. It does not grant access to a job without an authenticated account.

Analytics and advertising

We load the following analytics services on the public production website:

• Google Analytics 4 measures visits, traffic sources, device and browser information, and interactions. It may set first-party analytics cookies such as _ga and _ga_*.
• Plausible Analytics is hosted on our own analytics service and measures aggregate page, referrer, country, browser, and device statistics without using cookies by default.
• Microsoft Clarity provides heatmaps and masked session replays so we can understand clicks, scrolling, navigation, and usability problems. It may use cookies and similar browser storage such as _clck and _clsk.

These services load by default on the production website. We do not currently use advertising cookies or analytics data to sell personal information.

Managing browser storage

You may delete or block cookies and local storage through your browser. Blocking essential storage can prevent sign-in, job restoration, and other parts of the service from working. Blocking analytics scripts or cookies may reduce measurement without affecting the core video-processing service.

We may update this policy when the service's use of browser storage changes. The date above identifies the current version.
